This is a reminder for all of you out there that the deadline to submit an article for Issue 8 is coming up quick!
The deadline is December 1st!

It is high time to start work on Issue 8! If you have an idea for an article, artwork, or a story, leave a comment below or send me an email at theastromag@gmail.com. Need some ideas to kick start one of your own?
-What kits are good for kitbashing together (Empire Militia and Cadians mix well, for example). Include examples!
-A pro’s/con’s comparison of different paint ranges (GW, P3, Vallejo, etc)
-Battle report (with pictures!)
-What 3rd party miniatures you use in your 40k army, and discuss them.
Those are just some ideas! I do not have a deadline set yet, but do keep in mind that we aim to publish 4 issues a year. The next upcoming one will be due in mid/late-December, so expect the deadline to be roughly December 1st.

Hello all! There have been 687 downloads of Issue 7 sofar today, and roughly 10 downloads of each previous issue since last night when I switched the links to something I could track.
While looking through the statistics for the downloads, I noticed that there are quite a few from countries that don’t speak English on a general basis (Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Poland, to name a few). In light of this, I would like to start offering the Mag in various languages. This is a task that I can’t do on my own (the results with Google Translate would be… interesting at best), so I am asking you, readers, to help out!
If you know a language other than English, or know someone who does, email me at theastromag@gmail.com with the language(s) you (or your friend) knows and we will go from there.
Another thing that needs to be done with the translation project: finding folks who can work with InDesign. LutherMax, the current assembly guy, can’t do the work for every language version of each issue. Thus, if you are handy with Adobe InDesign, send me an email!
